November 12, 2014 Contests Random Silliness Shiny Things Writerly Things 0

So much has happened this week that I wanted to do a round-up post of gear-strewn confetti and assorted shininess.

On November 1st, there was the surprise announcement that TICKER is available in the US/UK through the Kindle First program. It’s free to enroll and then for $1.99, you get to read it a month before the December 1st release worldwide and on paper. (If you’re a Prime member, you can get it for FREE.) If you haven’t already, please consider rating/reviewing, because every EVERY CLICK COUNTS.

TICKER then rocketed to the top of the Top 100 Kindle Paid list, producing hilarious screencaps like these:

Number 2 author Ticker Fault  Ticker King

So then I spent my day off gluing some gears on a trailer:

And one reader thought all of it was an “overabundance of nonsense” so I might have ordered a custom embosser.

Nonsense SealNonsense Seal 2

These seals will be available at the launch on the 29th at the University Book Store. You can RSVP at the Facebook event page, and if you can’t attend, you can preorder an autographed/personalized copy which they will then ship to you!

That’s it for the moment… keep your eyes on this space, because the winner of the custom TICKER Kindle Paperwhite will be announced here on the 16th, and the next cheap oakleys contest will launch that very same day. Penny Farthing and I thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm!
